"What happened to the online store?!"

Hey, guys, it's John. You know, the owner of Lost World of Wonders. Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know what's going on...

Well, it's finally come down to this. After 3+ years of serving online consumers from all across the world, I've decided to shut down the online store section of the website. Some of you might be wondering why I did it; others might not care; still others (probably some of our competitors) are glad that we're gone from the arena of e-commerce.

"But... why are you closing down your online store?"

The biggest reason is time. I not only own the store, but I'm the one who has to process and ship out each and every single order that comes through the website. There have been times where I've hired others to take care of that for me, but the results they produced simply were not acceptable to our customers. My focus has been split between the website and my own brick-and-mortar storefront for so long that I've needed to take more frequent breaks from the website, and these breaks have grown longer recently. I'd like to focus more on my store, the one I have to open everyday to the customers that have been with me for over six years, and unfortunately, I need all my energies for that right now.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank every one of our customers for shopping with us through the years, and for sticking with us through each website incarnation. Some day down the line, when I've got the store set up the way I envision it, I may re-enter the realm of e-commerce with another online store that would be sure to meet your needs.
